Text only, by design. Images linked in the Markdown are skipped. Bold and italic inside a paragraph are printed as plain text in this version, and a link prints its address after the words. A few common symbols, ticks, bullets, arrows and curly quotes, are converted to safe equivalents. Any other emoji, and any letter outside the Western European set, including Polish, Czech, Turkish, Vietnamese, Arabic, Urdu and Chinese, is removed, because the built in PDF fonts cannot draw it. The page counts those characters for you after every build.
This is the one part of the page that leaves your device: your title and outline lines are sent to a free AI service to be written up. Each section is a separate request, so a six section guide takes a couple of minutes, sometimes longer when the free service is busy. Read and edit everything it writes. Your logo, your content and the PDF itself never leave your browser.
PNG and JPG are the safest. Transparency is kept. An SVG without a width and height in the file cannot be read by the browser, so export it as PNG first.
A lead magnet is a design job, not a print job
Exporting a document to PDF gives you a document. What an opt in actually needs is a cover somebody is happy to have on their desktop, a contents page that promises the guide is worth the email address, and chapters that look deliberate. That is the gap the $29 a month builders fill, and it is the gap this page fills for nothing. Everything here is drawn as vector text, so the file stays small, the words stay searchable and selectable, and it prints cleanly at any size.
How it works
Write or paste your guide as Markdown, which is just plain text with # for a chapter, ## for a section, a dash for a bullet and > for a quote. Set your colour and drop in your logo. The builder walks the text, measures every line against the real font, breaks pages where they should break, numbers the pages, records where each chapter landed, and then goes back and writes the contents page with the correct numbers. Chapters can flow, start on a fresh page, or get a full divider page with a big chapter number.
What is honest about this page
The PDF is built entirely in your browser. Your content, your logo and the finished file are never uploaded, and there is no account and no watermark. The one exception is the AI drafting box: if you use it, your title and outline lines are sent to a free AI service to be written up, and it is clearly marked. If you paste your own writing instead, the only things this page sends are an anonymous page view and a count of the button you pressed. It also pulls its two code libraries from a public CDN the first time you open it, the same way any website loads its assets.
Getting a good result
Keep chapter titles short so they fit the contents page on one line. Aim for eight to twenty pages, which is the range people actually finish. Checklist items written as - [ ] become real tick boxes, which is the single easiest lead magnet to give away.
